# Project Anatomy

This section describes the makeup of a Vaandroid application.

A Vaandroid plugin is simply an [OSGI bundle](https://www.osgi.org/developer/architecture) with additional files.

The plugin must contain a [Vaandroid.xml](https://www.twelvetone.tv/docs/operating-systems/vaandroid/vaandroid-developer-guide/project-anatomy/vaandroid-xml) file at the root of the jar.

An [AndroidManifest.xml file](https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/manifest/manifest-intro.html) along with [Android resource files](https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/resources/index.html) can also be included.
